The color is pretty natural looking but its a lot darker than what I've expected.
My hair color before the Glossy Brown was Platinum Beige.
I recommend this to people who want natural looking brown hair and yes.. it does make hair look shiny!:)

Hi, the color will lighten after a few washes- I tried that one before and it did lighter after 2-3 washes :-)
