Burgundy Hair!

Hello everyone I'm back with hair dye review post!

I've been really really liking darker burgundy hair lately and its already been a month since I dyed my hair. I liked the color but its really hard to maintain light colored hair when the roots are already showing up. So I decided to go for a darker shade. I always go to gabalstory online wig shop for hair color inspiration and I really wanted this color for a change! XD

So cute right?

I went to Watson's yesterday and saw these hair dye boxes with lovely shades! They got really nice mahogany and burgundy shades! 1 box is not enough for my hair so I've decided to get two different colors, I love mixing hair dyes! Haha!

When I opened the boxes, I was surprised to find another boxes with their original packaging.

I believe that this is a Japanese hair dye brand and is very good with covering gray hair.

I must say that unlike other cream formula hair dyes that I've tried this one is very easy to apply and it slides on hair really smoothly.

And for the results!

Covered my roots pretty well!

Here's the color under natural lighting (daylight)

Indoor poor lighting.

Overall, I really really like Silk Touch! In real life, my hair is more magenta than in the pictures but I really love it!

I really want to try out other shades in the future.

PROS:

Cheap! 1 box costs Php275

They come in so many different shades.

Mild formula, my hair still feels the same (well as of now)

The cream formula slides on hair smoothly

It's like Palty and made me wonder why Palty is so expensiveee.

CONS:

Cheapo Packaging xD

Color bleeds on towel after shower and on shirt when hair is still wet!

I am really hoping that this bleeding will occur during first day.

I shall update you with my hair color after few days if it changes! :)

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams!

After reading so many good reviews about NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, I got really excited buying some really good shades! First of all, I LOVE THESE. I've never been a fan of lipsticks but these are win! I have these 4 shades but still wanting to get the Antwerp.

What I love about these lip creams:

+They're matte!

+Glides on smoothly plus the they smell like cupcakes!

+Long lasting!

+They won't smudge off

+They are CHEAP

+They come in really cute shades!

+Doesn't take too much layer because they are very pigmented and opaque!

What I don't like:

+The good shades are always sold out!

+There's no orange shade lol

Swatches!

me wearing Milan! This shade is kind of pink and peach at the same time. Very good for everyday wear. Normally I would apply a little concealer/bb cream on my lips before wearing pale lipsticks but I didn't have to because this Lip Cream is very opaque!

Me wearing San Paulo, this is also great for everyday (atleast for me) I think it will compliment any skin tone.

Me wearing Addis Ababa (their bestseller shade) It's a bright pink lippy and matte. It's perfect! XD

me wearing Monte Carlo, Love this! I will wear this to the mall xD usually red lipsticks will bleed and get on your teeth but with Nyx's lip cream formula, it doesn't smudge/bleed or stick to your teeth! XD

Hair highlights update and stuff!

Hello everyone, I just did my highlights few days ago and this is my update. My hair is now lightening due to shampooing and washing. And my highlights are really showing up! xD

But the problem is, the bleached parts are becoming really brassy and orangey yikess!

I've heard about purple/blue shampoo but sadly it is not available here in Philippines, I've looked everywhere.:( I saw a couple online, quite expensive though and plus, I am on a tight budget right now. So I came across a DIY on how to make purple/blue just by using food color/dye. Yey. xD I really wonder if it will work.

LOLZ I got over excited I put so much dye on my hot oil treatment cream and on sample shampoo.

I heard the results of these won't be really "instant" though there will be a noticeable change after first application. I think I have to use these blue stuff regularly to completely remove the brassiness of my hair.

My hair has become a little less brassy after using these, I think. xD Maybe next time I'll try to leave the products on longer.

Purple Smokey Eyes Tutorial

Hello, back with a new tutorial. This time, I've done a quite dramatic makeup look than the usual. xD

Start with a clean and moisturized face. I applied mineral powder as my foundation.

I usually use this brand, its actually very good for me, doesn't cake out or anything. Plus, its really great when I am in a hurry and don't want to spend too much time blending BB Cream. xD

Fill in eyebrows!

Start with applying champagne-ish hue on your entire eyelid.

I think the easy secret to smoky eyes is start with the lightest to the darkest shade.

I applied a purple shade on to my lids.

And then applied the darker indigo shade on the outer corners of my eyes and lower lash line.

Used Etude House' Code B Cream liner and used NYC eyeliner at the bottom of water line.

Then apply a light and nude lipstick. Remember, no need to emphasize lips when you have pronounced eye makeup on. :)

Apply on favorite mascara and blush and you're good to go! :)

My mom bought these, they're 12 pieces and are enough for my hair. I rarely use heat to style my hair because of the damage that's why I really get excited when I find ways of curling the hair without any heat!

Here's how they look.

And this is how they look once you put them on your hair. xD

The longer you wait before taking them off, the better and longer lasting results.

I usually put mine when my hair is already dry. Putting them on while hair is wet is also possible but the curls end up to tight like Goldilocks xD

And you can also adjust the curls lower for a more romantic and natural look.

Result after 3 hours and a half. The curls are really big, bouncy and very similar to curling iron effect. Really cute! I took a nap with these on, quite uncomfortable but bearable, if you really want curly hair without damage! XD

DIY highlights for the first time!

So today I decided to experiment with highlights for my hairrr! Okay first I have to say that I used the foil method. I bleached random little sections of my hair using Hortaleza Bleaching Powder and oxidizing lotion 12%/40 vol and left the bleach on for 15 minutes it lifted the color so much but the color is very orange!

So after I bleached my hair, I dyed my hair with a box of Revlon Colorsilk Light Ash Brown.

And this is the result!

This is under natural light, it made my hair ashy which I really love!

And this is under daylight lighting, my camera is really funky lolz. Doens't really show what's accurte, but the photo above is the more accurate one.

Tadaaaaa~

I expect my hair to be a lot lighter after few more shampoos and the highlights will really show up. I am just really hoping that the dye won't fade so bad that the orange brassiness of the bleached parts will show through. EEK!

Tutorial: Peony Blossom Makeup

This makeup look is feminine, sweet and cute just like a Peony Flower! :) Just follow my nooby steps. xD

Start with bare and mosturized face. I applied Goodbye Pore Ever Primer Stick to my face especially on the parts with open pores.

I used Hydro Splash BB Cream from The Face Shop, it has a good matte finish so I did not need to apply any more powder after it.

After that, I shaped and define my eyebrows (korean style) with Styx HD from 4U2

I applied the light yellow eyeshadow as a base all over my eyelids.

This eyeshadow palette is from ELF.

And then I applied the lighter peach shade on the middle of my eyelids and the darker one at the outer eyelids for some dimension.

Then apply eyeliner. I particularly like to extend the line to create a long eye illusion.

This is optional but falsies make eyes really pretty and pop. :)

Using the skinfood shimmer, I used a q-tip and applied some at the inner corners of my eyes.

Apply waterproof mascara on the bottom lashes.

I used a blush on from SkinFood, its a nice pink shade.

To finish the look, I used Tony Moly lip tint Cherry for a natural red lippy look that is not overpowering.

And we're done! :)

Hat,Cat,Gradeschool Friends!

Hi guys, I just want to blog about my hat LOL!~ Anyway, its really cute I bought it for only $5+. And I really think that I am loving straw hats now, they're really cute!

I've been really sad lately because my cat Pepper is acting strange, she isn't as energetic as quite as she was before. I really don't know what's wrong. We've already taken her to her doctor and the doctor said that we must stimulate her energy by giving vitamins and water and all. If after 3 days her condition does not improve, they're gonna run a blood test on her. :(

Few days ago me and my grade school friends had a mini meet/reunion. It was really fun! I must say I love my grade school friends more than my high school friends because of the special bond we have. I miss them already! :)

This is Janelle, she's an old friend of mine we were like best friends during grade school and she came all the way from Canada for a vacation and to see us. I was so excited to see her. :D

In case you're wondering why a random post? XD It's because I'm testing the new layout. LOL

How to: Glam Cat Makeup

Hello, its been a long while since my last makeup tutorial LOL. Here's another newby makeup tut that I just came up. It's really easy to do except for the eyeliner part-which might take some practice to apply it the right way.

First, we start off by exfoliating the face, give it a good scrub to get rid of the dead skins and then moisturize! Now we have a clean face to start on:

Apply BB Cream or any foundation, take your time to blend well.

And then set the BB Cream/Foundation with translucent powder!

Emphasize the eyebrows.

Gold eye shadow, I applied it with my finger lols.

Next is the eyeliner, just line the top of your eyes extending it just slightly upward.

Make it as thick as you prefer. And then line the bottom of your eyes then smudge with q tip.

I used these falsies to create a more catlike effect. xD They're love~
Blush on!
I used two lipsticks for the lips. One is a paler pink and then i applied a brighter pink on the center of my lips for more dimension and interesting lips.

And I think its finished!

This is my first time trying Dariya Palty hair dye, its a Japanese brand hair dye and its very popular to Asians. It's permanent but it also washes out slowly and eventually just like any other permanent hair dyes.

So its been exactly a month since I colored my hair with Revlon Colorsilk Luminista Medium Blonde the brassiness calmed down a little but its still quite orange. So now, I want to try new color.

I'm dyeing my hair with Palty Jewelry Ash + Palty Beauty Mauve. Different colors, yeah... long story xD. I heard purplish tint helps get rid of the brassiness. So I'm gonna show you how I did it. I'm not an expert when it comes to hair dyeing but I love to experiment hehe.

These are the items that are inside the box. The manual is useless because its all written in Japanese, but I found a translated one on the internet.

And let's start mixinggg!~

You will need a big bowl or a plastic container and a hair color brush thingy.

I put cream #1 (Jewelry Ash and Beauty Mauve)

Mix 2 creams with the hair coloring brush, mix very very well. Take your time.

Pour the #2 cream peroxide bottles.

And start mixing again. I was gonna use a wire whisk but it might end up like a whipped cream lolz. Just mix mix mix!

And we're done, set aside for a while.

Before dying your hair, its really better to not shampoo/wash your hair 1 day before you dye it.

We need the natural oils of the hair to protect the scalp and hair from becoming too damaged. And I heard that the hair will absorb the color better if its not freshly washed. And you need a tshirt dedicated for hair dying that's if you're like me who hates just covering with towel and its really annoying.

Roots and brassy~

I left the dye on for 35 minutes exactly. The dye got really strong purple tones. It stained my shirt purple lol.

After washing and drying!

I think its pretty even and it colored my roots well.

(Sorry for my bare face, I don't usually put makeup on when I dye my hair LOLZ)

I like it~ My hair came out a little darker than before but its less brassy now and the color is subtle yet pretty. I must say it left an ashy color on my hair which I like and I wish it should've came out really ashy. Oh well~ but I like it! XD

Dariya Palty hair dye

Cons:

More expensive than regular box dyes.

Hard to get hold of. Usually by pre-orders, or the shade you want is not available, etc.

Strong ammonia smell

Pros:

Hair did not feel so damaged.

Somehow the color results came out similar to the color guide on the box.

Cute packaging? LOL

Will I buy again?

Absolutely. I'm debating between professional hair dye Topchic or Palty next or Liese. xD

Beach Waves Hair! No Damage and No Heat!

I know there are a lot other similar techniques used by other people, but this is the technique that I use whenever I want to get Beach Wavy hair next morning. So this is an overnight technique. But this can also be achieved beautifully in 3 hours.

First thing to do is to make sure you have shampooed and conditioned your hair.

Then dry it, or leave it slightly damp.

And then braid your hair into pigtails. I really don't know how to do the normal braid as my braid come up inverted as you can see. xD You have to start at the top if you want the waves to start at the top of your hair.

And then secure the braids with elastics. In my case, I slept with my braids overnight.

Braids don't have to be too perfect or parted perfectly so don't make too much effort making it look good unless you want to wear it out as a hairstyle xD.

I don't have results picture immediately after taking off the braids, they're pretty wavy and really cute. These are my photos after 3 hours, my hair look like its naturally wavy xD

Don't forget to apply styling cream/clay/mousse if you like. :)

BB Magic Balm and Revlon ColorStay Aqua

Revlon ColorStay Aqua Mineral Makeup

This stuff is magic, when applied it feels like you are applying a cold moisturizer and not mineral powder. Kinda weird but its really cool. xD

It's quite shimmery but I love the micro shimmers because it makes my skin glow.

It has a built in foundation brush style so its no fuss.

My skin is on normal side, I'm not oily or anything. But with the Philippine's weather, skin gets challenged and struggles so sometimes I feel oily. LOL Blah! But with this mineral makeup, a little goes a long way for me I did not have to retouch that much.

I must say that coverage isn't really good if you have a lot of blemishes and dark spots.

But so far it manages to slightly cover my veins, and you can see the shimmer on the picture.

Sometimes I use it alone whenever I feel like going minimal. And sometimes I just use it to brush on my cheeks for the shimmery effect.

I got my BB Magic Balm from Etude House a few months ago, that's why the word Magic and some drawings of stars on the packaging of it already faded. LOL

I must say that this product is really really good! Especially for people who are like me, who doesn't want to get their fingers dirty during makeup application. xD

It comes with a FREE foundation brush.

It's perfect for summer because of the high SPF, it also has good and build-able coverage.

It covers my blemishes and veins. Plus it has subtle pleasant smell. Only downside is takes a while to blend on the skin using its brush.

The second duplicated photos were photoshopped to show the hair color I really want next.

I bought these shades from Jellybean, they were on sale. They cost nearly $3.50.

Must bring shades inside your bag everywhere when you go out because they prevent eye wrinkles, dark eye circles, headaches due to sensitivity to light/sun and most importantly, cataract. So ladies, get a very cute pair already! :)

So cute, right? XD

Etude House I'm Fine Eyeliner

I wanted a very black color, but the sales lady gave me a brown one. X.x

Pros:

Can do a really fine clean line

Waterproof

Nice packaging

Dries quickly

Cons:

Too expensive

Smudges a litttleee little bit at the end of the day

Goodbye Pore-Ever Pore Primer Stick

This one's really nice, it does execute what it promises for me.

It's suppose to fill in your pores before BBCream/Foundation application to mask the appearance of open pores.

It has a really cute box that I really don't want to throw it away LOL.

It comes in cream form and in stick form, the stick form is cheaper and for me a lot neater to use.

I bought a leave-in hair conditioner/treatment thingy a few days ago. I really want to get serious on taking care of my hair because I am planning on growing it longer like Angelababy's.

My hair became slightly dry after my last hairdye, especially at the ends.

And so far this product works for me.

Pros:

Doesn't make hair and hands sticky during application.

Nice smell, typical.

It doesn't really wear my hair down, when I dry my hair it still has volume.

Ends feel really smooth and hydrated unlike before.

Hair gets better after each use!

Will repurchase this product!

Cons? Nothing much, really. xD

This is my hair update.

My sweetest online sister always send me stuff especially Etude House products and this is the latest that I love that she gifted to me. Its the Pink water mist. This scent is so me! I love it, it has a sweet florally and powdery scent and it's really girly.

Hey guys, I'm here to share the lip stuff I'm currently loving and been using whenever I go out!

First is the Magic Tint Balm from Etude House. I don't usually wear lipstick when I'm out because they feel so heavy on the lips but I also don't like not having anything on my lips because it makes me look so dead. Lol, so this is what I usually wear.

I love this! Its just a decent lip balm that gives a very pretty tint on the lips. But the tint lasts for hours. It makes my lips soft and it is very easy to put on. :)

There's a lot of balm in the container so this product is really sulit! XD

Dear Darling Tint Gloss Couple

This is LOVE. It's a lip stain that doesn't just stain the lips but also leave a moisturizing feel

unlike the other lip stain that I've tried, they were just so drying.

This gloss is dual. It has lip stain and lip gloss on each side.

It tastes like strawberries. xD
And I love the lip gloss applicator.

I rarely wear lipstick, but this one is really really lovee! I've always love Revlon's lipsticks, especially their matte lipsticks because they don't flake on me even though I have dry lips. They feel so lightweight and glides on smoothly. I love matte lipsticks.

And this shade is really cute. I love it!

And the Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou.

This one is on the glossier side but what's really nice about this one is that once the gloss fades, it leaves the tint behind for hours. It's really pretty. :)

Hair color update and random stuff!

Relvon Colorsilk Luminista Medium Blonde Hair Color Update after 5 days! Hair is sliightttlyyy dry. The lighter roots came darker than before and the orangeness have become lesser, but still very brassy especially in sunlight. Oh wel, I'm just glad that my hair is pre-lighted before I'm going to use Palty, but I should wait 2-4 weeks before I color my hair with Palty Jewelry Ash and Beauty Mauve. So I will have to stick with this ugly color for a couple of weeks T_T.

You noticed that my skin is glowing on the picture? That photo was taken during our trip to a far far away place wherein you have to travel the mountain up to get there and it was a really hot weather, very sunny and stressful journey lolz.

And I am only wearing a BB Cream! I found a holy grail BB Cream, this one is from The Face Shop and its called Hydro Splash BB Cream. I love it! It is perfect for everyday use. Because the consistency is not very thick, it glides on smoothly on the skin just like water. Not sticky at all, it has mild scent so it is very pleasant! It has decent coverage, I did not have to put on concealer at all. It lasts a whole day without even re applying or blotting powder because it did not make my face oily even though I'm sweating but maybe because my skin is on normal side, not oily and not dry.

It's a must try BB Cream, I really recommend it. It also has spf20 for extra sun protection, but with this hot weather don't settle for spf20 only go for higher! So I had to put on sunblock before applying the BB cream.

This is my everyday purse when I don't have to carry too much other than sanitizer, hanky, phone, and lip stain. xD It's cheap but very durable and doesn't go out of style!

My new MP3 player I bought off Ebay. It's called SONY Walkman E453 in Pink. I was gonna get an iPod but since Sony's sound quality is way superior than iPods, I got this one. It's really cool because it also has a karaoke mode with displayed lyrics. xD Great sound but the earphones need to be replaced with earbuds because they're too big for my ears lol.

Japanese Magazines that are useful to me XD

I found Japanese magazines at National's Bookstore that are really interesting for me. They only cost Php85 each xD. I saw this GalHair Magazine and it has really nice pictures of hairstyles, hair tutorials, makeup tutorials and wonderful hair color references. :3

And because I am so into sewing now, I saw these Japanese books that features a lot of easy to sew clothes, lots of patterns and graphics! I apply these patterns to my doll clothing because I am still not that confident to sew human scale clothing xD.

I feel like my sewing skills are improving, with practice of course. :)

Latest stuff bought for my dollies :)

I went to eBay and bought important stuff for my dolls (Pullip and CCE Fake Blythe). I bought a doll carrier bag that is a window type one so people can peep through on what's inside... Aha it's like a coffin.. I bought it from CoolCat because she sells them at most reasonable price and the bag is a nice quality, thank goodness this mix flower print is still available because I really think it looks cute! :) It also came with a longer strap.

But the thing is that it has a black lining inside, I'm afraid that this will cause some staining on the dolls, so I thought and friends suggested to me that maybe I can put another lining with lighter colored fabric and voila! Blythe and Pullip can fit even though my Pullip has 27cm obitsu. Now I can carry around my dolls anywhere for outdoorsy photoshoot! :)

Next up, is I bought a lot of 26 pair of "barbie" shoes. I heard that most barbie shoes will fit 27cm obitsu bodies for my Pullip. So I tested each pair if they will fit perfectly.

And these are the pairs that failed! Do not buy these kind of shoes for you dollies, they won't fit.

And these are the successful ones!

My Pullip Sephora's gonna have an eye surgery. xD But I am still toooo scared to change her eyes from regular ones to half dome acrylic ones. I bought these acrylic eyes from MimiWoo, I belive they are called Ocean Blue color. They look super realistic!

Don't like my hair color!

I dyed my hair with Revlon Colorsilk Luminista Medium Blonde but it turned out really brassy and too orangey for my liking...

I'm thinking about dying my hair with Palty finally next week. I'm not that worried with the damage it will cost because I'm expecting little damage since my hair is still in nice condition now. I just want to get rid of the ugly brassiness. X.x

This is the Palty shade I will be using... Jewelry Ash and Beauty Mauve since only 1 box is available per shade from my supplier. I've always wanted ash brown hair but i really dunno why I bought the Revlon medium blonde shade, waaaa!

Etude House Happy Teatime Review!

Hello, I am here to review these Etude House products because I think they really are nice and worth the money. First, is the Happy Teatime Milk Tea Cleansing Cream. It is suppose to remove your makeup by massaging the cream in to your face and then wiping the makeup away with cotton balls or tissue.

The consistency is really cream and is good on removing makeup, and a little bit of mascara. It leaves the skin soft, smooth and clean. :) It is actually for people who are too tired to wash their face to remove makeup. But I take the extra step using the the Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam.

This Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam is used for extra cleansing. It's creamy and has a moisturizing effect even though you've already washed it with water and dried your face.

I love these products mainly because of the smell! They both have a baby powder smell that is so mild and pleasant. Plus, they do a great job removing makeup easily, its enjoyable because of the scent. :)

I'm inlove with big headed dolls! XD

I got a Pullip as my birthday present. :))))

And her name is Sephora, she is a Pullip Clara (Special Edition)

Okay fast forward, I gave her a new body (Obitsu SBH, Soft Bust Medium) and bought her new wig. I am really in to customizing her eventually.

Painted her a new face and added eyelashes and here is how she looks like now! :)

By the way, I really got in to designing and sewing doll clothing, everything she is wearing in her photos are all handmade by me. :D

And then I bought a fake blythe because I cannot get hold of an original one, I really can't afford that price for a doll! But she is also adorable. She is my very own custom doll, her name is Raven.

I gave her a new carved lips and new makeup, changed her wig to Sephora's original stock wig.:)

I'm now into collecting re-ments (2nd hands coz they're expensive haha) I want mini stuff for my dollies! :D

Hello everyone! I'm so sorry i've been inactive here again. xD Anyways, I'm back (HOPEFULLY) I will be catching up on reviewing some of the new beauty stuff that I recently got. Anyway!

Remember, my name got damaged and had to cut it really short because of the severe damage. And that was last year (month of May, I believe.) and now its longer!! Yehey! I colored my hair darker than my usual color because I did not want my roots to be too obvious during the process.

So I bought 2 boxes of Revlon ColorSilk Luminista, its the newer range from ColorSilk but they cost more than the regular ones. It claims to be recommended for people with dark hair, for better lift I guess. It has mango butter that makes the hair shine after the application.

Here are the boxes, you can see the packaging. This is the 175 Medium Blonde shade. I use blonde shades because I want lighter hair (not really blonde, I believe your hair won't get blond from a blond dye box unless you bleach your hair firstm right?) I was expecting the result to be not orangey, i was actually aiming for ashy shade. Ash blonde is not available though.

This is my hair color before. as you can see my hair got really long and my roots are visible. And oh yeah, this is the healthiest my hair ever got! I really took care of my hair while growing it. I shampoo only twice a week, I only wash my hair with conditioner and I've always AVOID heat styling and putting so much hair products.

After using Revlon ColorSilk Luminista Medium Blonde. Here is the result! I'm not sure if I really like it, but its not what I expteced. Its quite goldy. And my roots are lighter than the rest of my hair. But that always happens when you put the dye on roots first. My fault because I was too lazy to dye the middle part and then go back to the roots, so lazy to do that. Anyway, it will fade a little after few washes I guess.. Because this is not the first time I experienced lighter roots on box dyes.

Will I purchase this product again? Yes, maybe another color. :) It is easy to apply.

But, after washing your hair after coloring, your hair really feels super damaged, like stiff or something. But all that went away when I used the conditioner the box dyes come with! I love the conditioner! It made my hair super smooth! Until now. :) I'll update you with the color after few days. ^_^

Weight loss, diet and workout blah!

Hi, as most of you didn't know.. I was struggling for weight loss last year!

Ever since we lost our weighing scale, I couldn't keep track of my weight, I gain and lose pounds easily but last year was the most super! Lol.

So I wasn't veryyy muchhh happy about it, as I saw my picture taken last April 2009 D:

So I worked hard to lose those pounds off, it wasn't easy. You know what they say? That when you get older, its harder for you to diet? It's kinda true.

So what I did was just diet and exercise everyday!

You'll see the progress here:

At first I was too strict with my diet. Like only eating vegetables and fishes, but it did not work for me because it just made me sadder-not being able to eat what I want and I love food xD

So yeah, I took it little by little. For my diet I did:

Cut my soda intake and commercial sugared/flavored drinks... I only drink water.

Avoid fried foods as much as possible.

Do not eat 3 hours before sleeping.

Always drink water while eating, not literally. I mean alternate xD

Fruits and yogurt as my snack. I don't skip meals, I still eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, but small meals only.

I avoid too salty too sweet foods.

I am not a sweet tooth so its easy for me to cut off baked products.

I get conscious about the fat content and calories of foods, its like an obsession now.

I eat all I want during Sunday yey!!

This is my picture 2 days ago, I look really thin but its just the camera angle, hence my big head LOL. 100 pounds weight. My problem areas are my arms and tummy.

For my workout, I don't do this all everyday. But I see to it, I do one or two of them each day.

Girls are saving their allowance to buy EH products because they feel like princesses whenever they go inside the store. I myself is also very guilty, I mean how can you not find their store cute?

I miss my old camera (Sony DSC H50) :( but I got to move on. Reason I sold it is because its too bulky for me to bring anywhere, everyday... I couldn't keep it instead because I needed the money to buy a new one.. So here is my new camera the Samsung T600 in Pink (of course)!

Reason why I got it:

Almost 5 weeks ago, I had my hair color done at a salon nearby. I wanted my hair red, not the punky red but decent red thats still brownish and not overly loud.

So this is my hair after few shampoos.

They dyed my hair and applied colored (red) cellophane after. Umm, I didn't like the cellophane part because it stained my shirts, pillowcases and bathroom x.x

We all know red hair dye fades so quickly compared to other colors... So this is my hair after almost 5 weeks!

Kinda turned a little orangey and lighter, the the slight pink shade faded but I think its still pretty though. I'm gonna keep my hair red for the whole year, haha!

I thought coloring it in lightest color available will lift my hair more.

So this is the color result after I applied it:

My hair didn't feel damaged at all. And the color barely faded away, I like it :)

Tutorial: Eurasian Look w/ Nude Lipstick

Hello everyone, I am back with a new easy tutorial. This look is called Eurasian with Nude Lipstick so it involves colored circle lenses, a little effort on eyes and cheeks and simple nude lipstick so that it won't look overdone.

You don't have to be really good with makeup for this. Just follow the easy steps :)These lenses, I believe are EOS.. but unfortunately I forgot the code because I threw the bottles too quickly. Anyway, they don't give enlargement that much and are pretty honey brown colors-the ones that I've been searching for. They match with my haircolor xD
I still love this Baby Skin base because I don't have anything else, haha!
I used a concealer from Revlon, its not too heavy and has sheer coverage-one that I am looking for for a concealer because I look weird having like no eyebags at all Lol
I like this whipped foundation alot because it glides on very smoothly, light and it has a pleasant smell.
Dusting on Loose powder after applying liquidish foundation keeps it in place.
This is my favorite blush on...yet! Its cheap, has pretty colour and it stays on for long hours!
I bought these purple brush set off ebay. I am not pro with brushes though but I love this set because they have pretty colour, they are soft and no hairs left on my face whenever I use them :)
I like working with eyebrow shadows and brush because for me they're easier to work with.
I love this eyeshadow, its very cheap! Like P60 only hehe, from Fashion21.
This gel eyeliner, is my first gel eyeliner and it doesn't work with me as it easily get smudged.

I love this mascara! I love its applicator, perfect for my thin/short lashes.Close up pictures!

My Short Hair Grows So Fast! Woah and Nails!

Hi guys!
As you all know I cut my precious hair because it got damaged (disaster perm) it surprises me how fast its growing now. I already got rid of the damaged ends.
I'm starting to like my short hair now because its so easy to manage, saves shampoo and conditioner, perfect for summer and its a good hair change for a while. I think everyone can pull it off with some considerations first.
If you are planning to cut your hair shorter ( I mean like above the shoulders short length)
There are things you must consider:

1st, determine your face shape which short haircut will suit you, there are different types like blunt, equal length cut, layers, etc
2nd, don't just go to any salon that offers shampoo/haircut/blowdry for a low price-they usuall end up not good you can tell once you already shampooed your hair and airdried it. The only two persons I trust when it comes to my haircut is my mom and this person at Ystillo Salon. I rely on my mom for simple hair trimming and to the salon for serious haircut. I only cut my bangs.
3rd. Short haircuts usually will look great on people with thick luxurious hair, but it will still depend on the haircut.
4th, to complete the change, colour your hair! Yey xD

My tips wont help that much, but if you are encountering the same problem like mine. Don't waste expensive hair products to revive your super damaged hair, maybe its time to consider cutting your hair off and let the new hair grow healthily -not committing the same mistakes before.

By the way, yehey for us who live in Pampanga, Etude House just opened at SM Pampanga @ Department Store, Im not expecting they'll be putting alot of stuff for sale because its just inside the department store, but still its great news LOL

My online sister is always so generous to supply me with Etude House products LOL.

My Hair Extensions

Sorry for not updating much! XD

So my extensions arrived 2 days ago they arrived so quickly,
Disadvantage of getting them online was the color didn't match my hair at all totally not what I expected! I had to dye them darker to match the darkness of my hair, so far the color is closer to my real hair. But I chose the one with the highlights on, so that when its clipped on my real hair, I will have instant highlights yeah!

But they still need to be colored to achieve the little copper tint of my hair. whew~ Maybe next week I will do that, I'll let them rest for now.

They are also originally 20 inches long, but had to trim them coz they were too long for me, they're 18 inches now. I also had to cut my hair a little bit more. I had to get more layers for the extensions to blend and to trim off my dry ends. xD

When your hair is short, and you are planning to wear clip ons, its better if they are wavy than straight- so it will camouflage your short hair much better. I curled mine using rollers, left them overnight. Human hair extensions, although you can apply heat on them, I'd rather not xD

Dolly Eyes Grey

Comfort: 4/5 Not really comfortable, though I observed that these lenses are very softtt I mean like, when u put in on finger, they stick to your finger entirely. You kno what I mean? XD
(Update) After a while of getting used to them, I realized it was just my solution. They're quite comfortable now.
Color and Pattern: 4/5 At first,they a little bit bold, especially without makeup on. They'll do great on cosplays, clubbings or whenever you feel like looking like a doll.
Enlarging Effect: 4/5 I have to correct my review on Soompi, these lenses enlarge.
You can see, without makeup on-they look freakish lol

EOS Flower Brown
Comfort: 5/5 Super comfortable, I wore it for more than 8 hours during my graduation. I didn't even had the time to soak them in fresh solution for 6 hours. I totally disregarded that, as soon as I got my hands on this pair.
Color and Pattern: 5/5 I love the Chocolatey and honey vibrant brown color on them and the tiny bits of greys are very interesting to look at.
They enhance the eyes beautifully, not too flashy unlike the tri tone lenses but they still give that pretty interesting look. I think many people can pull off these lenses.
Enlarging Effect: 3/5 very subtle enlarging effect, 14mm diameter. But still I love them
I think they look great with or without eye makeup. They are my current favorite!

EOS G202 Grey
Comfort: 5/5 Comfortable despite the fact that they are my first bigger lenses.
Color and Pattern: 5/5 They are like Geo Angel Greys, but bigger and thicker black ring, they are very dolly.
I can't say they are natural in person but that's why I like them The vibrance isn't as noticeable as the Dolly Greys.
Enlarging Effect: 5/5 They're huge xD 14.5mm that's why I recommend it if you want dolly look xD

Pretty in Pink Makeup Tutorial

How to: Pretty in Pink Makeup (with Double Wing Eyeliner)

I'm not an expert and this tut is not perfect xD,
but I would just like to share this makeup tutorial with you all, ladies

1.) Start with a clean face, apply moisturizer and/or if needed. It totally helps
on applying foundation easily and protects your pores from having direct contact with the makeup.

2.) Apply base before the BB cream/Foundation for a more flawless look.
I use my brush for more even application and because I don't want to get my fingers get dirty much.

3.) Apply the BB cream or foundation of your choice you don't need to pile on it
as we will be using concealer on the following steps.

4.) Apply the concealer, on areas that needed to be conceal.

5.) Dust a "little" of mineral powder to keep the foundation from running,
especially if the weather's hot. Too much will make your face appear cakey.

6.) Draw on the eyebrows with a light brown eyebrow pencil, you can never go wrong with it,
even if the application isn't perfect because its not going to be that noticeable haha.
And then carefully apply the liquid eyeliner or pencil, whatever you are used to, be relax
and draw double winged eyeliner. It gives extra impact without looking too much and
especially if you dont have false eyelashes on hand, they can create an illusion of falsies. LOL

7.) Curl your lashes and then apply mascara, I like applying mascara at the bottom
for a more dramatic and defined look, in my case eyeliner on my bottom waterline usually smudges
so I just pile on mascara instead.

8.) Blush Blush Blush, its a basic rule to not use a blush on that's same color as your lipstick,
Apply on the apples of your cheeks, a little on sides of forehead, nose and chin for more defined facial features.

9.) Apply Highlighting Shimmer for a more dimensional look, careful on the amount-too much will make your
face look oily. Putting some will also make your skin vibrant, glowing and looking healthy. I put mine on the
bridge of the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin

10.) Apply Pink Lipstick, wipe off the excess, put gloss if you want to

and Voila!

I've had this haircolor way back 2 years ago. This wig came out too long for me so I had to trim it 3 inches. I don't mind wearing it in public even though the color might be too loud for people haha! The quality of this wig is very good, its strong to hold styles, you can tie it, clip it and trim it more to suit your style.

This also came out super long, to butt level, so I had my mom cut it for me, the color's exactly my natural hair color. Nice quality, the strands are thinner and feels like real hair. This wig is thick. I also had to cut the bangs shorter.

Anyway, I don't worry coz I know they'll arrive anyway.

Last night I went to Marquee Mall and found really nice wigs, I was torn with all the styles so I chose this long, curly one with long side bangs (that I trimmed this morning LOL)

I didn't know the Kanekalon fiber wigs were already available here, plus they are cheap. I went to other wigs stores here and they wigs cost a lotttt. Like thousand pesos plus and they're ugly quality, old style synthetic and the styles are so old fashioned already haha!. But this one I bought is just Php619! Nice buy! But they have limited colors, they only have dark dark almost black color for every long hairstyle. I was looking for a light brown shade, but black's okay enough for me to try :)

It's my first time buying and wearing a wig and I can say that they aren't really that comfortable especially when the weather is really hot, sometimes your real hair inside the wig gets itchy. But it will totally give you new look without styling your hair :)

I get obsessed brushing it xD coz I wanted the curls to separate and because I want big volumized hair. So I'll beging my review for this.

Color: 8/10 natural black, its nottoo black it still has brown tinge on it. But I still prefer myself with a lighter brown color.
Style: 9/10 the bangs were kinda tricky to fix, I trimmed the bangs shorter.

Addicted to Wigss!!!

So I already ordered a wig from Gabal Story, an expensive one... but after searching for more and saw other different styles and colors- I got really addicted... So I ordered two more but this time from Ebay... they're way cheaper. Made me doubt the sellers and the wigs because they are way cheaper than my first one. Like, they cost approximately $18 each. Oh well I took the risk and paid already, the sellers are quite nice, very fast communication. And I am really hoping the wigs will turn out the same as in the picture.

I ordered these two in the picture same color and style.. One is really dark brown or black I can't tell if its really black but its straight and has cute side bangs, its for the days when I just want a simple hairstyle without actually spending minutes styling my hair trying to look perfect (but its not like my hair is still that long anymore x.x) And the second one... the description said its "dark blond" I have no idea how "LIGHT" it can be in real life waaah! But I like the color in the picture though..I hope its not unnaturally bright in real life because I don't want to catch too much attention when I wear it in public. O.O but whatever... I kinda like it because it looks unique, girly and volumized! I'm not so sure if it will suit me though haha! I can't wait for my wigs to arrive already!

Wee, I ordered A Gabal Story wig (Korea) from Soompi, and its gonna take a month or so for me to receive it, its either I'll get this style or the second style..color brown or red brown... But I am hoping to get this one. :)
The seller said that cold water is most recommended for washing these type of wigs, the curls and style are permanent, they aren't heat resistant so it is forbidden to blow dry and use hot tools on them... Though they are high quality and look really natural in real life, you can style them, put them in pony tail, pigtails, trim or whatever as long as there's no heating involved.Love the curlsss!!! <3 I ordered this red brown color or if there's none, Brown.
This is my second option, the one that they'll get me incase the first one is out of stock already...

Looks really cute,eh? I want the Brown one though and I am not a fan of the bangs but I can side swept it if I want :)

So natural looking! I won't even have to spend my time styling my hair haha!

Geo Two Tone Green Lenses Review

Comfort: Very comfortable for me, I've worn them for more than 8 hours already and didn't feel irritation at all.
Color: I love the color so much, it doesn't stand out much-very natural and doesn't give that fake green appearance. It's also noticeable even on naturally dark brown eyes.
Pattern: You can still see the pixelly pattern if you look real closely... but it's okay it can still pass as natural.
Enlarging Effect: Not much since it doesn't have limbal ring but it does enlarge quite a bit, but not like the Nudy series.

Overall I really like them, best green lenses from Geo since I hate the ones with sunburst in the middle making me look like a lizard or some sort of villain hehe...(ex. Geo Twins, Geo 3 Tone) These are good green lenses and I recommend them to everyone. They look especially nice with Pale skin and dark hair because the color really pops. and recommended to wear with eyeliner or long falsies to look nice!

I got my hair dye done in a salon 3 weeks ago, Light ash brown, when I came out of the salon my hair was so dark..like dark grey..no hint of brown. But the the person who dyed my hair said that my hair will become lighter after a week of washing. My hair is now less orange :)

The crest whitening strips really work! I have a couple of the strips still unused, because after 3 days of using them, everyone already noticed the results.

This toner is LOVE, I love how it leaves my skin refreshed anytime of the day, I bought a atomizer bottle and filled it with this, so I can bring it anywhere and I use it as a face mist, it doesn't rut ruakeup and leaves skin hydrated and refreshed. And I never had monthly breakout. But a little warning though for people who have extremely oily skin, because this might make your skin too oily. The scent is like fresh roses which doesn't really bother me, the scent goes away few seconds after you apply it.
It is a lengthening mascara, not a volumizing one, so I suggest you to use a volumizing mascara coat first and then finish with this one. It DOES lengthen your lashes bigtime. I love this mascara because it NEVER EVER smudges or flake or anything, stays all day with consistency, plus its so easy to remove. Curling your eyelashes before applying this might be a waste of time because after you put on this mascara, your lashes won't look curled instead they get straight, so its better to curl the lashes after you apply this mascara and don't forget to wait for them to dry first. The brush kinda makes the application a little messy, but I'm okay with it, since its so easy to wipe the stains going on my eyelids.

Here are my eyelashes after application, sorry I accidentally deleted the before pics, but trust me, my natural lashes are so thin and short. I especially love how I can apply coats on my bottom lashes and make them look longer, its a very WOW overall look.

This is the makeup base I got from Etude House, it basically preps your skin before foundation/powder application. It minimizes pores appearance, makes the skin look vibrant and alive and I love the baby powder smell so much!

And lastly, my favorite product that I bought is the SkinFood illuminizer, I forgot to take the picture of it, its this yellowish powder that has super tiny micro shimmer that when you put into your skin, the powder turns into a beautiful light pink color. It instantly makes the skin so vibrant, glowing and look more 3 dimensional!

I heard so many great reviews on MakeupAlley about this toner.. that its non drying (coz its alcohol free), contains rose petal essence blah, witch haze which is good for pimples and blemishes (I think) and doesn't contain random chemical ingredients that we normally see on typical toners. I'll make a review so don't worry! This really sounds interesting.

Yeah i know, the last time you heard from me my laptop got broken! Well.. I got a new rocking desktop while my laptop was getting fixed...so now the laptop is also fixed but I am loving the desktop more.. coz I got trauma HAHA!

Well anyways, I am currently in a Culinary School! Yup I love cooking and culinary school makes me so busy and enjoy! But don't worry I'll keep my blog updated from now on... if I can.

So yeah, my hair is so much longer, and still growing it..and lately I've been breaking out like crazy waaah! (I really don't know why...maybe coz of stress and cooking?) I lost some pounds. Wee.

Angela Baby Skin Glow and Cherry Lips Tutorial

Hello guys! I am officially back! I missed you all, especially Tune! Hi!

So i just wanna share a tutorial...

Lip tints/stains are so in right now! They make a super great alternative for heavy lipsticks/lipglosses.. Low maintenance (depends on the one you get) and super sweet but noticeable effect and not to mention, very natural looking.

And I also love how Angelababy's makeup so vibrant, flawless and dewy...like porcelain. She's got naturally beautiful skin, but I just discovered a makeup trick for us people who doesnt have her perfect skin hehe!

So lets start...(please click the photos to view full resolution)
These are the cosmetics I used.. I forgot to put the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler xD

Start with a cleansed face with your regimen..toner, moisturizer.. and apply BB Cream.
And then apply concealer to hide away dark circles and stuff..
Dust on Mineral Foundation. I like this wet and wild one, its not thick and heavy.
Curl the lashes...
Apply Mascara... Lately I've been liking the thick mascara/curled lashes look without the eyliner... It looks very innocent.
To get AngelaBaby's secret skin makeup, apply Illuminizer slightly on the apples of the cheeks, chin and nose bridge to give yourself a 3 dimensional look and healthy glow. Don't go overboard with it, because you might look just oily.

And then apply blush on, my blush on comes with extra illuminzer and gives a super pretty pink glow on my cheeks.
And lastly! The Lip Stain/Tint... I just got mine from Fashion21, its super long lasting and this shade is really pretty and I like it so much. The color intensity is buildable. Don't forget to put on lip balm before this to avoid drying of the lips!
And we're done! All pictures were taken with flash for precision. This is how my face ended up after the makeup. Glowing and vibrant just like Angelababy's LOL! (no photoshop)

Hey guys, wont be able to make some new posts because I am so problematic about my laptop, its broken- the videocard they say... I never had any problems with my Acer Laptop for like one year and a half until now... I am so upset and frustrated because I have some things I need to settle and update hanging.

xD So tomorrow they will send my laptop to some technician which I am hoping that he/she can fix it good as new.. I really love that laptop because of the specs TT_TT So please help me pray that it can be fixed, I think they will just have to find a videocard (NVIDIA) that is similar to mine. But if they fail I will have no choice but to send it to Acer Manila... and the repair cost will be Php20,000 more or less >__< So yeah. I think I wont be able to buy the ds lite for now ~.~" oh well it can wait. SIGH xD

YAY My Slouchy Beret just arrived

I bought this on Ebay... last November 13 from Thailand. I've been looking for this kind of hat (slouchy beret they call it?) in Philippines for like forever and finally decided to buy online. It costed me 700Plus pesos with the shipping fee already. And today it arrived, its soooo cute!
I'm planning on getting more of this kind of hat, different colors and styles... The Ebay seller has lotsss of lovely cute hats! So I got to take its picture on me xD.

Do you like hats like me? I love them! Here's few reason why hats are cool:

1.) It doesnt really matter if its summer or cold season... It protects your hair/head from the sun. And during cold seasons... They keep you warmer.
2.) They come in different styles, colors and kinds that can make you look a little cuter/cooler/better. LOL
3.) If you are having a bad hair day they come in handy :D
4.) They just never get old!
5.) If your outfit is too simple, put on a funky hat! xD

Here are the detailed pics under flash and different lighting without flash.. They look so much better in real life though. (excuse my very scary eyes and smudgy makeup)

I love them, very natural with a mix of funk because of the pattern hehe...
I like their enlarging effect-- not as great as Ck-105 but really good like the Angel Series.
What can I say, they look so cool- I didn't expect that they will make my eyes look lighter brown since on the pattern it only has 3 tear like brown patterns... Or whatever its hard to explain hehe..
But the black ring is obvious and enhanced the brown tear patterns really well... Overall they make my eyes look naturally brown from afar..
They also look good with or without makeup :3

New haircut by mom! My mom is really not that Pro but I feel safer if shes the one cutting my hair, hehe.. So we kept my original hair length.. and just added layers graduating from my ears-down. I cut my bangs first xD My mom always tell me that I look better without bangs though but I feel like my hair is boring without bangs.. What do you think about my haircut??

I don't have to style it much because my hair is naturally ummm.. thick and got decent volume... So its a wash and wear haircut I can say.. Sometimes I put on velcro rollers on to get the dolly curls style, its really cute. I like my haircut! So yeah, I'm gonna keep my hair like that until its already long.. (remember my goal?) yup like past the elbows haha or maybe shorter..

Enlarging Effect: 6/10, doesn't really enlarge much unlike the nudies.
Color and Design: I love its pattern, very natural compare to Twins series.. they are also more subtle than my twins.. They look kinda hazel though, but I love them ^__^ They look great especially with brown hair too! Hehe! Very natural looking.. if you want a lighter brown for your eyes ^.^

I think they can look good with or without makeup.

This look is inspired by Janice Man.. its a very Hippy inspired but really cute ^_^

Its really easy.. First just get a random section of your hair (forehead level) on the side (make sure the section is on the inside)

And then, braid it neatly.

Place the braid to the other side and secure it with a bobby pin, or whatever works for you.

And then hide the pin with your hair... and Voila!

Simple and Cheap Doll Look Tutorial

Its been a while since I haven't posted a tutorial so here we go..
I mostly used drugstore brand makeups for all the makeup newbies out there like me hehe..

Okay we should start with a clean face. Apply moisturizer,
let your skin absorb the moisturizer for 3-5 minutes.
And then apply foundation. I used Maybelline Clear Smooth Gel Foundation,
a concealer (not sure of the brand)
and then I dusted face powder (Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Face Powder)
to set the liquid foundation in place.

And then shade the eyebrows a little for a little definition..
Just use any dark brown eyebrow pencil.

For the eyeshadow, its really simple, I used an in2it duo eyeshadow with bronzey colours..
the light one for the entire lids and the darker shade is for the outer corner.

I used another in2it product for the eyeliner, its a liquid brown one..

Curl the eyelashes and apply Mascara (Maybelline Volum' Express)

Apply Blush on (By Revlon)

(EXCUSE MY DRY LIPS!XD) Lipstick and Apply Lip Tint only
at the inner corners of the lips or whatever you call it xD

To get a slight Dollfie look effect, I put concealer (slight) on
the lipline and blend.. and then I topped the lips with a lipgloss.

And last! If you don't have a highlighter.. a white shimmer
shadow will be a good alternative (just apply little)
Dust on the bridge of your nose, cheek bones, forehead and chin.

And we're done! ^__^

Yes! I want to get the Nintendo DS Lite for my birthday <3 I will never be bored during dull days anymore! xD I am so excited, I really hope I'll get to have one. Some of my friends are saying why don't I just get the PSP instead since I can save songs, watch movies, etc... Heck, I don't want it. (These are just my opinion, dont bash me :P) Firstly because there are so many people who owns the psp now its like so overrated. Two, most of the best games on PSP are just usually racing or versus games like Tekken and little RPG's. Third reason, I really don't care much about graphics, I'm just up for the good games and DS Lite's features, having the two screends and touch pad -makes games more interesting and fun! PSP is more on multimedia side.. Bleh I don't want to use my portable gaming console as an "MP3 player" and I can't watch movies on it just because I don't feel comfy.. I find it really shady when people buy PSP and download more songs and movies than games LOL, whats the point when they spend money on other gadgets that are specifically for that, like iPod. Real gamers like the Nintendo DS. Fourthly, The DS Lite looks so sleek and awesomer plus its less prone to damage. When I get mine, I want to decorate it hehehehe!

I just want to list down the games that I am going to download just incase I would really get the DS Lite, so I wont forget LOL!

I always wish I could go back to my prom days hehe.. because they're all "failure" Hahaha!
Well anyways, people should learn from each other's mistakes right?
So i will list down the tips to make an almost perfect prom night...

1. Do not over prepare or expect things will be exactly want to want.. You will end up disappointed on prom night for sure.. xD

2. Practice your makeup a week before the prom night.. don't ever procrastinate on it, makeup your mind on what kind of look you wanna go for. If you know how to do your own makeup and if you are good at it, its better... because here's the thing when you get your makeup done on a typical salon... they tend to transform your face too much! LOl they shave your eyebrows much that will make you look "mean"/masungit.

And also they tend to put a lot of makeup (esp if the brands are cheap) and mostly the look they go for won't suit you... I notice makeup done by makeup artists from salons.. they tend to put wrong shade of foundation and concealer..sometimes the concealer looks so much lighter than the natural skintone which looks horrid in pictures especially in pictures with flash >.<>

3. Your gown, cut and colors matter!

>Don't go for gowns that look like you've just rent them.. You know how they look.. they have cheap looking glossy fabrics and way too colorful

>Avoid looking like a gift wrap.. you know those contrasted color combinations like pink and green, violet and yellow etc... they looks so overdone and cheap now..

>Do go for classic.. or a mix of classic and modern.

> Consider the venue... If the venue is super classy like a castle! You don't wanna miss out on wearing a ball gown hehehe! Well it depends on your taste though xD

>Hairstyle..Don't go for high maintenance hairstyle.. like crazy curly updo's.. they will look so messy by the end of the prom night..

My top PROM makeup looks!

Natural Look: If you have nice skin to begin with.. You can pull of this look so well! All you need is a flawless foundation and concealer.. natural, slightly bronzy and shimmery eyemakeup, thin eyeliner and a nicely natural looking false eyelashes for the eyemakeup. Healthy glow on cheeks, peach or pink and natural looking lips.

Red Lips: If you can pull off red lipstick well, this look is super glamorous! All you need is good foundation base and concealer, healthy looking cheeks. Minimal eye makeup, natural hues, thick or think eyeliner and killer false eyelashes! For the lips, look for a good shade of red that will match your skin.

Youthful Look: Other makeup looks that I like.. They're light and vibrant.. Very youthful and fun.

Gowns that I like.. I like the design with a touch of classic, intricate details yet simple and has a vintagey vibe, hehe..

I've been really busy, hehe...
So yeah last night I've been thinking about letting my hair grow long past my elbows xD (random)
And I am also planning on doing another makeup tutorial called Natural Dollfie Inspired Look xD Its so exciting!

And I am also trying the L'oreal Pure Zone anti imperfection moisturizer, I wanna see if it will get rid of my little pimple marks. So far I like how it feels on my skin, the texture is really improving- I notice my pores getting less visible haha! But I still see the pimple marks.

And yeah, I just found out about the Maybelline Dream Mousse Shimmer Illuminator and I am trying to purchase one within this week off Ebay.. it looks interesting since I love the Dream Mousse series except their blush ons.. they don't really last long.

Hello, if you are a starter for serious makeup like me... I would like to suggest some basic "stuff" to put inside your makeup kit.

Throw those cheap face powders/ Johnson's baby powder that you use for your face LOL!

Basic Makeup for beginners must haves!

1. Liquid Foundation (for me, this is the best type of foundation)
2. Loose Powder that should be translucent since I find pigmented ones cakey on the skin. You need to dust on loose powder after the liquid foundation.
3. Concealer!
4. Eyebrow Pencil for definition, don't buy black ones (they look harsh)... go for Brown Blacks or Dark Browns.. You need it if you have thin eyebrows I hate seeing "barely there eyebrows" xD
5. Eyeliner... Should have 2 kinds, a pencil and a liquid. (brown or black) brown is more natural and looks great on people in general.
6. Blush On, you should have one in pink color and orange/peach one.
7. An eyelash curler, for short lashes like me, putting mascara without eyelash curler is pretty useless.
8. A good waterproof mascara since waterproof mascaras tend to hold the curls of your lashes longer.
9. Bronzer...Its good as blush on, eyeshadow, and for contouring. Versatile, it can also be mixed with liquid foundation for that dewy look.
10. Lipstick, a pinkish to nude ones and a peach/orange color. Don't buy red ones-yet xD
11. Lipgloss (any color you like) to make your lipstick pop with shine and you can also wear it alone if you want.

So yeah, I skipped the eyeshadows because it depends on you, but if you want eyeshadows, you should have a natural palette (classic) and pastel ones because they are funky and youthful. Those are just basic must haves ^.^ Hope you find them helpful ^.^

How to look better!

Nope, I am not going to make you pile on so much makeup.. (yet xD)

Somebody requested me to make a blogpost about this... because a lot of people say I look better than way back then and I will tell you my secrets on how to look better (prettier) gradually. This is for the people who wants to be pretty without undergoing drastic changes.

1. Assess your appearance.. Do you think you need to lose weight? Are you comfortable with it?
Assess your face and your features. If you think your features are messed up, I don't think so... Anyone can look pretty even with small eyes, monolids, uneven eyes, flat nose, big nose, etc.

Shaping your eyebrows makes a big difference on your overall facial appearance. So get rid of your messy eyebrows.

2. You may also want to start investing for a good skin ^.^ Get rid of those pimples, black/white heads.

3. Get a more flattering haircut that suits your face well.

4. If you wear glasses, get a new pair of them that are more fashionable than your current frames or start wearing contact lenses if you get tired of your eyeglasses.

5. The secret is perseverance and being positive.

6. Get braces if you need them, because they will make a huge difference once it fixes your teeth/bite. Or if you've been wearing braces for long and its already due, its time to take them out and wear retainers. I just don't find braces attractive anymore LOL.

7. Start taking better pictures of yourself because its gonna boost your ego and your self confidence, plus you can monitor your appearance. (LOL Im not sarc)

8. Start reading fashion magazines because they help LOTS (for me) and also start joining a beauty forum that you can gather tips from... For me Soompi's Beauty and Fashion Section helped me look better. <3

9. Don't be afraid to take risks if you are confident that you will be happy with the results in the long run. I am not against plastic surgery unless you're gonna do an overall plastic surgery that may change the way you really look because that's freaky.

10. Appreciate all kinds of beauty ^.^ Every person's beauty is unique. Embrace it.

11. Wearing makeup also helps! Try investing for a good foundation/BB Cream and concealer, because they make your skin look flawless. And if you want to go a little further... Makeup is your friend ^.^

Once you achieved a better appearance, you will feel all happy inside and outside ^.^ Its better to start now than later... Because I've seen women who only makes effort on improving their appearance when they're older which is like so frustrating.

Yay, I finally got this cute little blush on from my favorite brand The Face Shop.
See how cute the packaging is.. xD Its purple...

I chose the pretty pink shade because I already have an orange one... but not this brand though.
All I need to do is puff it on my cheeks and blend ^.^ Its blush on+ illuminator in one.. Can't wait to use it for my next tutorial.

Revlon ColorSilk Light Ash Brown.

I've been dying to color my hair again after 3 months now.. And my favorite Dying Kit (since I usually color my own hair at home) is Revlon Colorsilk. My last shade was Medium Brown I think which was pretty but I want to try their Ash brown now xD..

I needed two kits because my hair is longer than shoulder length and also so that the color will be evenly distributed since I have 2 bottles... I love Ash Brown color..it's my type of Brown (no red/orange tint..more on the pale brownish gray side)

I can't really guide you step by step for hair dying at home since I really did not prepare myself to do so (so sorry!xD) Of course you will have to wear old t-shirt and Towel (ones that you don't really bother if they will stain-because they are gonna stain a lot!), big hair clamp and small one for my bangs.

It's important to read the instructions... So first we prepare all the stuff, so we open the boxes and mix what you gotta mix, prepare the extra stuff. I sectioned my hair in four parts and started coloring by part. After I'm done applying the color, I left my hair for almost an hour.

Oh by the way! I used to color my hair immediate after Shampoo and drying my hair - which was wrong! You have to wait for 24 hours after shampoo before coloring your hair. It should be still clean and free from other products like heavy conditioner, leave ons, spray, clay, gel, etc. So yeah, I have new color! Bye, bye roots...

My hair has gone lighter xD (I love it, but sometimes it shows a little itsy bitsy orangey hue ~.~" but I know its normal and it will be gone after few washes)
But so far, I love my hair color! And of course you probably are thinking if my hair gets damaged xD Of course there is possibility and it does get damaged but it has remedy... I just use intense conditioning and also leave on conditioners help.

I know that I said before that I will get my hair colored at Salon but my mom said something like.. Salons here don't give the right color that you actually want.. They give you the wrong color most of the time because they want to finish some stock... So in the end you won't get the result and you won't have any choice but to wear that color for months >.<"
So this is how it looks like under different lighting.

Simple New Year Celebration With My Family.

Our celebration was fun and simple ^.^
My Family ( parents, 2 brothers and grandmother)

We are really newbies when it comes to cooking the turkey >.<" It's our second time cooking it (First was the 2008 New Year)
My mom's plan was to buy ready cooked food for New year's eve but she just realized that cooking experience with us is funner!

So yeah, we had 12 kinds of fruits, Roasted Beef, Roasted Turkey, Fettuccine, Steamed Giant Tilapias, Buko (Coconut) Salad, Ham, Bottle of Wines/Cranberry, etc!

So yeah, it was fun.. All we did is watch TV, eat and laugh until New Year... No fireworks though (because everyone's sissy to do so LOL) I think I slept at 1:30am because I was so sleepy already.

xD Hehe, my dad was super "in the mood for pictures" that night...
So was mom (xD So beautiful even without the slightest bit of makeup)

I made little New Year's resolution!

1. I will try to minimize eating rice and pork..
2. Try my best to exercise at least (like running LOL)
3. Make moooore moneyz so I can contribute more and buy what I want (hehe..not all the time though!)
4. Make more friends. (I am such a hermit)
5. Be wiser.
6. Grow my hair long like elbow length xD

My Christmas Presents From Parents & Friends!

First of all I would like to greet everyone a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" xD Sorry, I've never been posting because of business. Hehe, better late than never... It's Christmas the whole December in Philippines anyway, xD
So I just want to share the gifts my parents gave me this Christmas <3

My mom got me a bottle of Victoria's Secret's Back to PINK... I love the smell so much, I sprayed it on last night after showered until now I can smell the sweet scent of it...

My mom knows that I am not a fan of Fruity (I like citrus but I am talking about Melon, pineapple, cucumber scent LOL) Scents and Flowery scents.. So I really like this, its very appealing, it smells so cute and just right for my age.

Dad got me an awesome computer microphone, for recording vocals and stuff, I like singing... xD
And he gave it to me so I can record in better quality and so I won't have to wear the headset. It's so cute ^.^ I love my parents, they sure are weird sometimes but I love them xD

Also I would love to thank Ate Grace, Tilay and Ate Kei-Jei (Singapore)
for their gifts... ^.^

Thanks Ate Grace for the package... I received stuff from Japan from her..A long sleeve shirt, a white dress, hello kitty mini stuff and a Christmas Card with Mariah Carey's perfume sprayed on it! Thanks!
Tilay (Elaine) for the very useful gifts, a vO5 Curl enhancer mousse (I Love this stuff!), Grey Eyeliner and a cellphone charm ^_^

Thank you so much.... :D It's sad that I didn't get to see you when you visited Philippines... I didn't get to give you a present too T~T I really want to give you badly.. xD

Gifts doesn't have to be expensive, its the thought that really counts no matter how lame that sounds (LOL).

Missha Perfect Cover B.B Cream

Mom got this from Korean Online Store and it arrived suprisingly fast, like 2 days after ^.^

This is a nice addition to our BB Cream Collection xD...
I must say that I love it! My mom decided to just give it to me because she noticed that the higher the SPF of the product, her skin gets dry (her skin is super sensitive).
This BB Cream has SPF 42 o.O
I tried it once, never had a problem after using it.

The coverage is fantastic, really. It neutralizes all the redness and uneven color of some parts of the skin, and it has really good staying power. It is good as a foundation itself. I don't have any cons for this product. I really recommend it. You can read the description on the container here...
It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, it gives the right amount of moisture to the skin, but if your skin is extremely oily, I don't think it can control the oiliness.

You get a naturally flawless finish if you use this product, its not cakey up close at all. Smells pleasant, and guilt-free to use because it contains many benefits for the skin unlike using Foundations.

HerBench's Pretty When Pinched

This lip and cheek tint fro HerBench (costs around $2+) is a must have for every girl who just wants a very natural flushed cheeks and cherry lips look...

It is oil free so it decreases the possibility of having pimples when using it.
It only comes in one color though... which is like a color of red wine, but don't worry it won't look as harshly pigmented once you put it on your cheeks and lips.

I remember using the old package of it when I was in highschool, it used to be in Tube and only a cheek tint which is sooo hard to blend on cheeks especially when put over powder, it creates a very ugly effect. But they improved the product now, its more liquid and easier to blend on cheeks. I put mine usually after I put foundation on... Just make sure you blend it quickly, because it will create weird marks on your cheek if you leave it for long... and just blend it with your fingers.

It looks so natural on your lips and cheek. You won't feel like you are wearing lipgloss or lipstick at all. You still feel your own lips, very light.
And your cheeks won't look all powdery at all, just naturally blushed. ^.^

Clean and Clear | Pimple Clearing Speed Gel

I got pimples >.<
I have two of them on my left cheek and a little one on my right... >.<
And whenever I have pimples... They take such a long time to disappear and when they disappear they leave scars/marks T~T

So I gave this product a try... It costs $2.40 here and its suppose to dry and clear up your zits after a day of application. And I like this product, it works... My pimples aren't completely gone but they sure heal faster than putting nothing at all.

I can feel the zits becoming flat and dry now xD
Hopefully, they are gone before our Christmas Reunion Party...

~Candy Cane Nail Art Tutorial~

Just in time for Christmas! xD

This tutorial is super easy and pretty. It will also save you money from going to nail salons.

Materials:

Nail Polish (Colored)
White Nail Polish
Glittery Nail Polish
A pair of scissors
masking tape

Step by Step:

Paint your nails with the colored nail polish...
And wait until they are completely dry.

We are going to use the famous tape method
To create the stencil, we cut a strip of the masking tape and then divide and cut them
(diagonally into half) and stick them on the nail forming them like this:

Now, you won't have to worry if you mess up ^.^
Apply the white nail polish.

And then, no need to wait for it to completely dry..
Apply the glittery polish over the white polish now...

And then remove the tapes carefully (going to the diagonal direction)
And we're done ^.^ Repeat for every nail!

(excuse the thumb part, I kinda messed it up because I left it too long before I removed the tape )
TIP: Remove the tape immediately after you out the white and glittery polish.

Struggle for Perfect Skin

I can say that my skin has improved a lot by the time I really got obsessed about it- but I am still trying to achieve super smooth, flawless, poreless (xD), porcelain skin...but with limited budget! >_<

(Please Excuse my weird pictures, I didn't put makeup on, no PS too)

I don't have perfect skin yet.. My skin is combination of oily and dry. Sometimes I get bumps.. and whenever I get pimples, they leave marks - that are very hard to get rid of. I also hate that my under eyes (they get dark and baggy easily) What I use for my skin:

I exfoliate twice a week with St. Ives Apricott Scrub.
I do egg white mask twice a week.
I use DHC Cleansing Oil as makeup remover (I love it!)
Kojic Acid Soap as my face soap. But when I feel like my skin is dry I use a The milky foamy face wash from Loreal after I use the Kojic Acid Soap. After that, I apply toner, The Face Shop's Quick and Clean Toner...(Yawn) Then moisturize with Celeteque (for night) and Olay White Radiance (for day) and then use Olay Total Effects Eye Cream.

I must say that the Eye Cream really works! I've been using it for some weeks now, and I noticed the changes on under my eyes, believe it or not, I have tiny lines. But they are now fading and lightening. The only off about this is that it has weird smell xD

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

I finally got myself a Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. What I love about this is that it curls my eyelash quickly unlike my old Eyelash Curler (Fanny Serrano) I have to wait for some seconds to curl the lashes. And what I really love about this SU Eyelash curler is that it curls even the tiniest or shortest eyelash I have, considering that I have really short ones. xD No wonder why its the top eyelash curler brand.

But its expensive compared to regular eyelash curlers, but I got it for a cheap price in Ebay. Bwaha! xD So yeah, if you want a good eyelash curler, you won't go wrong with Shu Uemura's ^_^

The Influence of Soompi (Forums)

I love Soompi it's the only community forum that I found really fun, informative and super cool.
I just joined last September and I already have like 457 posts... While the number of posts that I have on IMVU Forum (been a member for 3 years) is only 261.

I am a Beauty and Fashion Section lurker.

I guess its because the people tackle important and everyday dilemma topics that occur to people, its so easy to speak up your mind, make friends, share thoughts/concerns and ideas because I found the Soompi Members really smart, kind, casual and not intimidating.

Asian people is its most dominant members, maybe that is why I feel so belong in there LOL.
And these are the things that I've learned from Soompi so far...

How I did my nails yesterday

My mom said that my nails are wayyy too long already. So I decided to cut them shorter >_<

The fact about long nails is that you always get the tendency to make typos. It's so hard to type on keyboard especially on Laptop keyboards. It's also hard to stick circle lenses and put them out. They are also high maintenance, like must wash hands and put sanitizer all the time because they are most likely to have dirt easily which is bad if you have the habit of touching your face all the time. So yeah, I cut my nails shorter and painted them yesterday.

I hear about this technique everywhere, but it never hurts to share again xD
For those of you who can't create a perfect french tip.. this is how we do it. First we need the nail colored polish and a white one and a tape. Any kind of tape as long as its sticks.

So this is how, I did mine... The picture's kinda self explanatory already but I will love to explain again. xD
1. Paint our entire finger nails with any color you want.
2. Let it dry completely.
3. Cut a tape (you don't have to cut the curve shape)
4. Put the tape on your fingernails and shape it while you stick it to create a curve (I hope you know what I mean xD)
5. Pain the tips white (you wont have to worry making a mess now!)
6. After painting, immediately remove the tape.
7. And you have a perfect french tip! YAY!
8. Repeat Repeat!

Start with clean face and then moisturize (I used Olay White Radiance Cream)

Prepare Foundation.. I mixed the liquid foundation and skin brightener.
LOL If you are wondering why I have lots of anti aging products, >.< mom buys them but she gets allergic to them so I use them instead.

Face Shimmer for radiant skin effect

I used this Victoria Secret blush for contouring and it also gives a very nice sheen.

I used this cheap shadow stick as a base for my eyeshadow. Spread it all over the lids.

Bronze and dark bronze eyeshadow palette.

Apply the darker shade to the outer corners of the
eyelid and at the bottom lids (this blending looks prettier on monolids)

Apply Liquid eyeliner...

Black eyeliner pencil at the lower lids.

Get a white eyeshadow and highlight the inner corners of the eye and brow bone.

Curl eyelashes and apply Mascara <3 src="http://www.soompi.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" emoid=":)" alt="smile.gif" border="0">

Apply blush on the apples of the cheeks, chin and sides of the nose to accentuate facial features. (preferably peach to orange-ish shade)

Apply Lipstick! (pinkish tone) CoverGirl's IncrediFull lipcolor in Plush Blush

Last! I I styled my hair with flat iron, I kinda semi curled the edges for dolly curls.

And done!

The contouring and bronze and stuff are more visible on these pics xD

Celeteque Water Based Moisturizer

Celeteque Water-Based Moisturizer contains a combination of humectants occlusive moisturizers, which dermatologists believe to be essential ingredients in skin moisturization. Lastly, studies (medically administered and consumer usage tests showed that Celeteque Water-Based Moisturizer smoothen rough and dry skin.

This is my current moisturizer and been using it for 4 days now. I love it! It's not oily or sticky, very light and it hydrates my skin very well. I use this after applying my Quick and Clean Toner. I really don't have sensitive skin and I don't have that much skin problems like pimples and stuff. So I guess I can recommend this to anyone who has quite good skin to start with because all it does is moisturize, it doesn't have that much healing properties. However, because its water based and oil free, it won't aggreviate pimples if ever. :D

I also have this weird thinking or maybe its just psychological, that moisturizers that are creamy and white are causing white heads... I don't know. So with this Celeteque moisturizer, its clear liquid gel like form.

It provides a good base before foundation, but unlike other moisturizers, it won't feel heavy with makeup at all because its water based.

Celeteque is a UNILAB Product and it is available in drugstores and Watson's all over the Philippines for Php170 / $2.7 (approximately)

Vintage Nerdy Glasses are trendy right now! Couldn't find the wayfer style ones around at at SM, so I just settled on these pair. They are available in 3 colors: dark blue, brown and black. So I got the brown one... xD

Guess how much? $2.5!!! It's really hard for me to find eyeglasses that fits my face, I hate that.. But the first time I tried this and looked in the mirror I was like "Woah! They are big.. but they look very cool!" My mom and dad actually thought that I kinda look adorable in them (teehee!) I'll post pictures of me wearing them sometime (of course, promise!)

So yeah, I picked the brown one because black will be too common, and brown has more vintagey vibe. It's like picking brown eyeliner instead of black xD Checkered/Tartan printed clothes are so "in" this season! Just last two weeks ago I bought 3 tops.

As mom and I were strolling on Nepo Mall (LOL) We saw a lot of pretty tartan clothes, some of them are blindingly very kawaii!!!

Then I got my eyes glued on this pretty dress, the first time I saw it I knew it's going to be mine...

Its only availabe in 2 colors, this one (blue) and green. I love the blue one, it also comes with the pretty black belt.

Good thing it fitted on me because it only has 1 size available (YAY!) I wonder when I should wear it...

Hmmmm I feel like wearing it with stockings or heels or black boots! Its so versatile I can wear it with a tank top underneath and leave some buttons unbuttoned.

And the skirt part is very cute, its layered xD

Mom gave me this handbag-she said that its her advance Christmas present! I am a first time bag lover and currently own 2 bags only at the moment. xD

I love its smallish size, perfect for the things I usually bring like money and beauty stuff LOL
